An avid athlete, Victoria has embraced every opportunity to engage in sports, from hockey to basketball, showcasing her determination and competitive spirit. Beyond the court, she finds solace in the pages of books, nurturing her passion for learning and personal growth.

Victoria's journey toward a career in healthcare began at the age of 11, inspired by the compassionate care of her orthodontist, Dr. Laberge. 

Determined to challenge gender norms in the male-dominated field of science, Victoria aspires to follow in her mentor's footsteps, embodying kindness and expertise in her practice. Her ambition knows no bounds as she sets her sights on graduating from dental school and eventually establishing her own orthodontic practice.

A natural leader, Victoria thrives on active involvement in her school and community. During her high school years, she spearheaded initiatives to foster unity and support among her peers, from organizing spirit weeks to volunteering at a women's shelter. Her coaching role with the grade seven and eight boys basketball team taught her valuable lessons in adaptability and mentorship, skills she continues to refine as a student navigator at Canadian Mennonite University.

Victoria's path has not been without challenges, particularly as a female athlete in a male-dominated sports environment. Undeterred by skepticism and exclusion, she embraced the opportunity to join the varsity boys basketball team, proving her worth through hard work and determination. Her courage inspired fellow female athletes to follow suit, leaving a lasting legacy of empowerment and inclusivity.
