Announcing new Board of Director appointments

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For Immediate Release WINNIPEG—The Nellie McClung Foundation announces the appointment of a new board chair and two new members of its board of directors, as well as the full slate of board members for 2018-2019.

Joining newly appointed Board Chair Doris Mae Oulton are two new board members Judith Chambers and Danielle Robidoux“Both of our newest board members and our new board chair all embody the spirit of community and bring skills, expertise and energy to the organization. We are very fortune to have them by our side as we continue to grow the Foundation”, Lila Goodspeed Everett, Past Chair and Nomination Committee member.

DORIS MAE OULTON CEO of Community and Youth SolutionsDoris Mae Oulton is chair of the national Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Charitable Trust and past National Chair of CFUW. She has had a distinguished service with the Provincial Government, serving as ADM Immigration, ADM Status of Women and CEO of the Children and Youth Secretariat.

She has been active in the women’s community serving as chair of the YMCA/YWCA’s Women of Distinction (an award she also received), president of University Women’s Club of Winnipeg, active with the Person’s Day breakfast, and one of the founders of Women of Winnipeg (WOW).

JUDITH CHAMBERS, B.Comm. PFP, CFP, FMA VP & Marketing Manager, TD Wealth Private Wealth ManagementJudith’s career spans over 25 years in the Financial Services Industry with the last 15 in the area of Wealth Management working exclusively with high net worth individuals and families.  She joined TD Bank in February of 2013 where she currently leads a team of wealth management professionals in the areas of Private Banking, Advisory Services & Private Trust.Judith holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has her CFP, PFP, TEP and FMA designations. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Dalhousie University.

Judith is an active member of the community and has held previous roles with the National Board of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and Cabinet Chair of the local Children’s Wish Foundation Advisory Board.

DANIELLE ROBIDOUX Manager of Development, St. Boniface Hospital FoundationDanielle has worked for a variety of private sector and non-profit organizations, starting out at l’Université de Saint-Boniface, St.Amant and now as the Manager of Development for St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

She currently serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals Board and has held previous roles within the Francophone community serving the women’s organization, Pluri-Elles. She enjoys volunteering and always looks forward to the time she spends as a Winnipeg Folk Festival volunteer.BOARD OF DIRECTORS
